Description: Native to South-East China, Dark weavers bamboo has smooth dark green culms (Stems) and a tidy, upright growth habit. Fasca is a very similar bamboo to the famous Slender weavers (Gracilis) variety. However, it differs by having dark hairs on the culm sheaths. Fasca also has white powdery blooms at thin-walled culms with lovely small leaves at the nodes. Long internodes mean the distance between nodes is more extended than another bamboo. Perfect for multi-story screening/blocking or soil stability and erosion control. Makes a beautiful specimen, as a screen or a stand-alone bamboo—one of the many cultivars of Bambusa textilis.
