Silverstripe Bamboo

Botanical Name: Bambusa Multiplex cv. silverstripe
Description: Silverstripe is native to China and Nepal. It has several white striped leaves and the occasion thin white stripes on the culm internodes, the variegated foliage and occasional silver stripe in the calm, this is why its given name is Silverstripe.
It is the most cold-tolerant of the multiplex species.

All multiplex cultivars make fabulous screening or a hedge bamboo. They are the densest bamboo full of foliage. 

The V-shaped growth habit associated with this bamboo still allows for terrific screening.
Silver Stripe makes an excellent windbreak and will block out sound.
